This specimen is a combination of Epidote, Realgar, and Orpiment, expertly carved and polished into towers/points, each one unique distinct. Epidote is a known enhancer, Realgar energizes, and Orpiment forms from the decay of Realgar near volcanic thermal vents. Close inspection reveals chatoyant flashes of color. Amazing pieces for collectors. Please note that Orpiment is a sulfide and small traces of arsenic occur in Realgar, but it is stable in its current form. Although it’s perfectly safe to handle, we recommend washing your hands after.
These stones started out as big chunks of raw stone. They were then hand carved and chipped into points and then polished up to create a beautiful free standing tower.
